WELLINGTON VILLA BATHROOM renovation

Colour and thoughtful tiling create a comfortable and cohesive bathroom

With minimal tweaks to an existing functional layout, a rustic, blue tile transformed this space.

Our villa needed a next evolution to meet the evolving needs of our family. Now with young adults, it was time to replace what took the knocks over the years and reconfigure spaces to better meet our lifestyle and practical needs. This is our first completed room.

The rest of our reno is at various degrees of completion and I often forget my family don’t know what is in my head for the rest. Having this one fully resolved hopefully gives them some faith that Mum knows what she is doing!

“I know I am biased but I love this room! It is impactful whilst remaining calm and fresh… and all importantly, easy to clean.

My testimonial goes out to our tiler. Those earthy, irregular tiles are not easy to lay as perfectly as they are, especially when I have an aversion to tile trim meaning he miter cut every edge!”
